The final curtain had fallen on a monumental Caister weekender.
The time had come to pack our bags and start thinking of the
6 hour journey home to Morecambe when we decided to head towards
down town Yarmouth for a last beer and remember the great moments
of the weekend ,little did we know that this was to turn into
one of the great moments of the weekend.
The
venue:The Long Bar (Yarmouth prom)
When
we entered the bar a few local people give a strange but welcoming
look as we were still in full weekender attire (mad hats, surf
pants, sad shoes and the now famous weekender t shirts).
The barman sensed and quenched our thirst and the DJ saw to
our soulful needs.
In no time at all there was increase in volume (beer and music)
and small but dedicated groups of lost souls from the weekender
started to drift in. At this point the bar was ours and the
DJ on our side in full effect.
The
weekender was born again for a last few desperate hours longer,
bar we salute you
