Item: Important; SSC Club Date Amendment
The Club Date for January has now been changed to Saturday 14th January 2005 and not the previously advertised Saturday 21st January. This is so the Club can assist in promoting (and attending) what looks to be a cracking "Skankin and Stomping" Night in Morecambe.
News about a Northern Soul / Ska Night which has been scheduled for January 21st at the Kings Arms in Morecambe only came to the Clubs attention at the Doo on 17th December, so apologies to our supporters for the late change of date.
However the Club felt that the prospect of two similar music nights in the resort on the same night would not beneficial to either party, and with an option available for the Club to change its January date, we feel the right decision has been taken.
Simply put, we support more music in Morecambe.
A review of Decembers Christmas Soul Night will be on the site soon, as will the photographs in the Gallery and further details on the Kings Arms' Northern Soul / Ska Night will be on the Events section soon along with some other nights in the area you may want to check out.
