Item: Soul & Scooters for the Bank Holiday

It's certainly looking like a cracker of a weekend ahead in Morecambe this Bank Holiday if ya like ya soul or even ya Ska.

Not only are your Seaside Soul Club Crew gearing up for another banging Soul spanking night at the Uppy on Saturday evening, but we also will have a few guests in town as the Morecambe Bay National Scooter Rally descends on the town.

It certainly seems a long time since this fresh faced hometown website editor was striding his Primavera, wizzing noisily down the promenade and walking jealously around the custom shows of the 1980's scooter rallies.

I'll be certain to gaze around them nostalgically again on Saturday afternoon, but you can guess where I'll be at, come Saturday Night.
