May 2006 sees three big events in the Bay Area starting on Saturday May 20th with the Seaside Soul club hosting one of their popular monthly soul nights at Upstairs Downstairs Pub on the promenade in Morecambe

The club opens at 8.00pm and is on till 1.30 am with a 1.00am bar. Admission is £2 and there is a free CD to the first 25 entrants.

All your favourite Seaside Soul Club DJs will be on hand to play soulful sounds from the 1960ss through to the latest sounds of 2006.

On Friday May 26th Soul returns to Barrow In Furness with a cracking soul night at The Cross Bar Barrow Football Club, again playing sounds from the 1960ss all the favourite northern/modern and motown sounds and some soulful dance from 2006.

This event runs from 8.00pm till 1.00am and again there is a free CD to the first 25 entrants. Admission price is £3 and DJs for this event are Sean O’Connor, Simon Attwood and Nick Duffy with special guest from Barrow Gary White. On Sunday 28th May all roads lead to Morecambe with an all day all night festival of soul music.

The fun starts at 2.00pm with an all day event hosted by the Club at Upstairs Downstairs it's completely free with plenty of soulful sounds throughout the day and into the night, This will act as a warm up to the AllNighter hosted by The Soul Togetherness team at The Carleton Inn Morecambe.

The event takes place between 9.00pm - 6.00am Sunday evening into Monday morning.

D/J line up includes: Kev Roberts, Richard Searling, Bob Hinsley, Soul Sam, Ginger Taylor, Eddy Edmondson, Mick H, Terry Davies, Sean O'Connor, Nige Brown, Barry Maleedy, Neil Jones & guests. Admission is £10 and you can book your tickets at www.goldsoul.co.uk
