Many apologies to all the regular soul surfers for the site not being updated in a long while, we’ve had major computer problems that I simply wont bore you with, but we’re back now with a huge lot of updating to do.

Since our “site blackout”, I can tell you that a terrific time was had by all at the 3rd Anniversary doo on 21st October. We raised £261.48p for St. Johns Hospice on the night from a donation entrance and the sale of the 25 “Special Edition” Anniversary CD’s.

Many thanks to all of you who came to see and enjoy, and can I also give a big thanks to all the superb DJ’s who submitted some stunning tracks in the compiling of the special CD, which incidentally will be published on the site very soon.

As always, as I do get many emails, all our CD’s are for promotional purposes only and are not available to purchase from the Club, you either have to get to a club night early to pick up one of 25 on the door, or simply befriend a SSC DJ, buy him lots of drinks or solicit via his email and beg! Simple.

Also to update fully on the site soon are the new Club dates for 2007, which sees early confirmation of 3 Bank Holiday warm-ups as Goldsoul promotions return to Morecambe with 3 quality all-nighters at the Carleton. You can now be sure Seaside Soul will be there to warm you up just right for all 3 gigs. What an opportunity to come see us maybe. Check the Goldsoul site for ticket availability.

Well I’d best get on, got lots to do. Don’t forget the Christmas bash on the 16th December at the Uppy, where our special guest DJ will be our very good friend from the Family Tree – Andy Lett.

People say that Microsoft paid $14 million for using the Rolling Stones song “Start me up” in their commercials. This is wrong; Microsoft paid $14 million only for a part of the song. For instance, they didn’t use the line “You’ll make a grown man cry”.
