Item: Seaside Soul Club Preview

This Saturday sees the return of our popular monthly soul nights at Upstairs Downstairs and we hope to see many of you in attendance. As ever we will have a special CDR to the first 25 in attendance and this time out Dastardly and Muttley have chosen the tunes.
We have a very special Christmas present for you all in the form of our very special friend, the soul club in St Annes’ finest, the Family Tree’s Andy Lett.

“Epic” as he’s known to cyberspace mates everywhere and the St Annes Bus Spotting fraternity has been “on the scene” for many years, his long suffering wife Mildred and his budgie Molyneaux have had to suffer endless lectures on the merits of the mecca nights over gala nights they have in Wigan and is something of an expert on cheese too.

Epic can recount every track that Pete Haigh never played at the Blackpool Mecca nights back in the 70ss and will be hoping that Mildred will be allowing him to go through her drawers I mean wardrobe in order to bring us some of those elusive tunes along with some of the best soulful dance Steve Naylor will allow him to play.!!!

We are priviliged that he could fit us into his tight schedule what with Holiday on the Buses showing again on Saturday Evening and Please Sir on UK gold it is an honour to have him with us. Mind you The Fylde Disco Formation Dancing team(Julia Coral and Carmel) may have something to do with getting him here

Do not miss this fun festive night it all starts at 830pm and a full review and playlist will be on site on Monday 18th December. I for one can’t wait!!!
