Item: Seaside Soul Club Review - Smokey's 22nd Aug
Thanks to all the soul dudes who gave up their warm summer night and their potential barby’s to head along to yet another night of Seaside Soul at the fabulous venue of Smokey O’Connor’s on Saturday.
Special thanks also to those from across the river, and from Kendal who had made a special effort to be with us. We hope the choons and the special atmosphere made it an enjoyable night out for you.
Although the attendance wasn’t what we hope for in this perfect concert room venue, the feel good factor was still flowing in the room as the SSC chaps namely; Sean Treacy, Tim Curry, Simon Attwood & Jason Mills provided a mix of soul with a lean towards the northern half of the room.
On Saturday 12th September we will be in Lancaster for the flourishing “Soul in the City” night, at the Phoenix Club. The venue is a cracker, the bar prices won’t burn a hole in your recession hit pockets, and the vibe is definitely happening there. We do hope you can join us.

With the next instalment of the SSC Club Night at Smokey’s being the 6th Anniversary of the Club, you can also be sure we will be pulling out all the stops for the 24th October, and all the best vinyl too during the coming months to make sure this one’s a sure fly floorfiller too.
